These Ghostbusters look ready for a fight. Paul Feig

Ghosts, specters, apparitions and spooks had better run for their undead lives. The women from the new "Ghostbusters" movie have their matching uniforms, proton packs and tough expressions ready to go. Director Paul Feig revealed a photo of the all-female ghost-fighting crew on Twitter July 10.

The core cast consists of actresses Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon. Feig has been teasing fans for days by tweeting out separate photos of the costumes, the Ecto-1 car and the proton pack. It has all culminated in this sassy cast photo in front of the charmingly ungainly phantom-battling-mobile.

Jones scowls at the camera, McCarthy stands with her arms crossed, Wiig looks prepped for a scrap and McKinnon stands with her Neutrino Wand slung over her shoulder. The costumes are slightly more colorful than the ones featured in the original 1984 film. They're still jumpsuits, but they have stripes running across the torsos and up the front of the boots, giving the look a subtle update.

Feig's photo appears to be a snapshot from on set where filming is under way in Boston. The official tweet came quickly after some apparently fan-shot photos appeared in an online gaming forum showing the cast dressed to the nines in their ghost-fighting gear.

"Ghostbusters" is scheduled to debut in theaters in July 2016.
